Happy Turtle STARZ are the special people who have donated money to keep our little organization running. We are a registered 501 (c)(3), so donations are tax deductible.

How much does it cost to join STARZ?

In appreciation of your donation of $15 or more, HTP will offer you exclusive STARZ access!

What does the money go for?

Mostly operating costs for this website to have it hosted and to pay for the domain name. No staff members receive a salary; this is a volunteer organization only.

At the end of the year, if we have extra money, STARZ members get to vote on where to send the excess. We typically send money to other turtle organizations, such as rescue groups and research centers on sea turtles. We have also sent money to cancer organizations, in memory of Petra.

What do I get for joining STARZ?

Your name in color on the forum.
Access to a special part of the forum for only STARZ members.
A webpage to show pictures of your turtle and tell your turtle's story.
Voting rights for where we send excess funds.
